Dr. Chen TCM Clinic office, which was found in 2004, was originally located in the mid-town Manhattan. As we develop in the past 10 years, the number of our patients has been increasing and our team has strengthened, the original space cannot satisfy the needs of increasing patients due to the limited rooms and long waiting time for the patients.

Since 2013, Dr. Chen has started to look for the new location and the establishment of the new office. After nearly one years’ construction and preparation, we finally run into the operation on February 1, 2015. Our new office is currently located on the middle of 33rd Street in Madison Avenue of Midtown, which in only two minutes’ distance of walking from the original office.

Our new office has 17 rooms, including examination rooms, offices, treatment rooms, beauty rooms, Chinese medicine pharmacy room, and resting room. The decoration is more dedicate and magnificent, combined with traditional Chinese Medical culture and modern trend. The decoration materials are mainly wood and glasses which are more environmental and eco-friendly.

The token of Taiji, the essential of Eastern culture, was engraved in two dedicate black and white stones on the floor of our lobby.  In addition, there are different styles and lights which manifest the Yinyang, Siji (four seasons), Wuxing (five elements which stand for gold, wood, water, fire, earth), tri-gram.  The internal environment is more elegant and peaceful as the relaxing music flows.

We got a lot of compliments from our patients for our treatments and services in this new environment. They really enjoy the relaxing ambiance during their treatment.

Dr. Decheng Chen, L. Ac. Ph. D. , has profound academic background on Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine and received the Bachelor, Master and doctor’s degrees .  He graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and followed the most famous acupuncture professor Qiu, Maoniang who is also the chief physician of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China.  Dr. Decheng Chen has received 11 year’s authentic medical education and has 30 years’ clinic experience. He has published 15 books and more than 100 articles about acupuncture.
