On October 23-25, 2016, the 60th anniversary of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CUCTM) and the promoting conference of “first-class university, first-class discipline” were held in the Wenjiang campus stadium of CUTCM. Nearly 2000 people were gathering to cerebrate the 60th birthday of CUTCM, and witness the whole-new CUTCM “double first-class” journey. Guests attending the ceremony included the officials from central, provincial, and municipal governments; the deans of other universities, the current and former deans of CUTCM, the founders of CUTCM, the alumni from home and abroad, and the current faculty and students. Dr. Decheng Chen was invited to attend the 60th anniversary of CUTCM and the 30th anniversary of the CUTCM College of Acupuncture and Tuina, as well as a series of academic activities. He also gave a special academic talk there.
