Acupuncture for Uterine Fibroid

China Press New York news: Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumors of the female reproductive system and commonly occur in 35 to 50 years olds. Most Medical doctors suggest surgery to remove them. Dr. Decheng Chen uses acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine to treat uterine fibroids without surgery. Dr. Chen believes that all possible treatments of uterine fibroids should be taken into account before making a decision based on the patient's age, symptoms, fibroids size, fertility and general health status. It is best that Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine be used at the same time; this will shorten the course of treatment by a lot. The Chinese Herbal Formula used during the menstrual period cycle is different. It must  "stop the bleeding yet prevent clotting and reduce fibroids without bleeding". On one hand, it must improve blood circulation in the endometriosis to reduce fibroids sizes. Yet on the other hand, by adjusting the function of organs, regulating the blood, and reconciling the Chong and Ren Meridians, ultimately it can inhibit the growth of more fibroids (See picture).
