On October 28, 2018, the 2018 International TCM Development Contribution Awards Ceremony was held at the Markham Civic Center in Ontario, Canada. The conference was sponsored by the International Society of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Research, which supported by more than 40 units including the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. The theme of the conference is “Inheriting Classics of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the benefit of the international community”; the aim is to “play the advantages of traditional medicine and improve the clinical treatment effect”.

Professor Chen Decheng / Acupuncture Expert (USA) , Ph.D. in Acupuncture: Professor Liu Guanjun of Changchun University of TCM and Professor Qiu Maoliang of Nanjing University of TCM. Dr. Chen has more than 30 years of clinical experience in acupuncture. He has published 16 acupuncture books such as "Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion" and "Chinese Acupuncture for Beauty and Anti-Aging". He was also treated by Egyptian President Mubarak. He is a well-known Oscar director and movie star's Chinese medicine health consultant. He was sent by the Chinese Ministry of Health to visit and teach in many countries. Special use of single needle alone for the treatment of clinical incurable diseases. Professor Chen’s papers are: “Motion Acupuncture for Soft Tissue Injury” and “Puncture Layers and Needling Sensation Controlled”.
